In 2024, after more than 25 years in the Life Sciences Industry working with Global Partnerships and Project Management within large, small, public and private, Pharma and Biotech companies and organizations, Marianne Schovsbo decided to launch her own customized and confidential partnership and project services company — BioPartnering Solutions LLP.
Marianne’s Drug Development and Companion Device experiences span from Concept Phase to Post Marketing Approval within the Oncology, Cell Therapy, Cardiology, Inflammation and Metabolic disease areas. During her tenure in the industry, she has been involved with a countless number of Global Partnerships and Drug Projects, at every development stage, overseeing innumerable steering meetings & committees, global cross-functional teams and reporting to Executives Levels of orgnanizations.
Over the course of her experience, Marianne has observed the many ways Global Partnerships and Projects become successful; but she has also seen how Partnerships and Projects can fall off the track and not meet their potential. She has found that there are four (4) key areas that can be decisive factors as to whether a Partnership glows with success or falls into the “I wish we hadn’t done this” category. These areas involve:
1) Partner or Project Strategy discordance with overall Company Strategy,
2) Misalignment with Partner or Project expectations and outcomes,
3) Lack of truly understanding the risks that are involved and,
4) Disunity at the cultural and experience levels, across the Partnership or Project.
